Holy wow, I'm proud!

My Kool-Aid yarn from yesterday, all dried and wound up pretty.
Lookie at all the yarnie yummy goodness!  I can't believe that I made that... all by myself.  I'm so excited about, I'm going to attempt to paint yarn with Easter egg dye today - at least that is the plan.  I even like the areas where the Kool-Aid didn't quite reach and if you look close, you can see little flecks of the Lemonaide... and no brown so that means, to me, that it wasn't a complete bust.

To celebrate this monumental occasion, here's an appropriate song for today ~

Okay, so maybe I just want to hear Josh Groban - but isn't he always appropriate?

    1. Thank you, Cheree - I am rather tickled. I currently have some Easter egg dye yarn working on my counter. I just need to know how long it is supposed to sit and the nuking requirements... lol.

    1. Me neither! I was honestly scared to death to try it - I had the supplies on hand for a few months now... now I have no idea what I was worried about. It's a ton of fun, I strongly suggest grabbing some wool and joining in!

  4. Okay, I'm sold! I just bought myself a hank of DK superwash merino in anticipation of Kool-aid dyeing and seeing yours has got me extra excited!

    1. You must share when you're done - I don't want to miss seeing it! It's addictive though, I swear.
