Once the rest of the house gets up, the magic of the moment is lost. There is now noise beyond my control. Life jumps up and down on the soft cushion of my peacefulness. I like to wake up before the rest of my family simply so I can enjoy that moment of the day.
Sometimes it lasts for hours, sometimes for only a few minutes... but no matter how long it lasts, I savor every second. What is your favorite part of the day?
I am savoring that time of day right this moment, as I write this ::goes to get more coffee:: I ran across you on Ravelry ! I am a total and complete and hopeless yarnaholic, so, I'm friending you so I can follow your tracks. By the way, I consider peppermint (white chocolate) mocha my favorite of coffee drinks. ReplyDeleteI love when I'm home alone, which happens frequently. I get to just be myself, relax, sing, dance and sleep without intrusion.
ReplyDeleteOnce I wrote an essay about my love for coffee, I guess that partly answers your question (all coffee related moments, alone or not). My other very fav time of the day is drinking hot wine on cold winter evenings (alone or in company).
