Beef with Broccoli, Cauliflower and Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower florets (thawed)
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of broccoli soup undiluted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons minced onions
- Worcestershire sauce (optional to taste)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Cook rice according to package directions and set aside. Then, in a large skillet, brown beef with spices and Worcestershire sauce; drain. Combine soup and milk in separate bowl and set aside. Add beef, rice, vegetables, soup mixture and cheese; stir until combined. Placed mixture into to a greased 2-qt. baking dish.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until heated through. Yield: serves 4
